Occupational Therapy

Occupational Therapists assess how a child performs daily activities such as self-care, motor skills, play, and learning. We look at the child’s individual strengths and needs to support their development in a way that’s meaningful and relevant to their life at home, school, and in the community.

We also provide strategies, resources, and gentle modifications to the home or school environment to create a space where children can thrive and feel comfortable.

How We Work

Our occupational therapy approach is child-centred, practical, and goal-focused. We:

  • Observe children in real-life settings  — home, school, and community — to understand their needs
  • Collaborate closely with families, educators, and other professionals
  • Provide tailored strategies and resources to support skill development
  • Encourage independence, confidence, and participation in everyday activities
