At The Speech & OT Co., we believe access to therapy should be clear, transparent, and supportive. We offer a range of funding and rebate options to help families access speech pathology and occupational therapy in a way that works for them.
Below is an overview of the pathways that may help reduce out-of-pocket costs.

The Speech & OT Co. provides services for self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants.
Our fees are charged in line with the current NDIS hourly rate. We aim to deliver high-quality, meaningful therapy while keeping services as affordable and transparent as possible for families.
For plan-managed participants, invoices are sent directly to your plan manager.

Some families may be eligible for Medicare rebates under a Chronic Disease Management (CDM) plan, or Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) plan.
These plans allow access to up to 5 allied health sessions per calendar year, shared across providers.
Eligibility and rebates are determined by your GP or Paediatrician, who can advise whether this option is appropriate for your child.

If you have private health insurance with extras cover, you may be able to claim a rebate for speech pathology or occupational therapy.
Rebates vary depending on your fund and level of cover, so we recommend contacting your insurer directly to confirm what is available to you.

As part of our commitment to improving access to therapy, we offer a reduced fee option for eligible families.
Families who hold a valid Australian Government Low Income Health Care Card may be eligible for a 10% reduction on non-NDIS services.
Please speak with our admin team if you would like to access this option.
We understand that funding can feel overwhelming. If you’re unsure which options apply to your family, our team is happy to talk it through with you.
